The ChessboINK Ash / Pink vertical chess board pairs the bright, clean grain of light ash veneer with bold, hand-applied pink field painting — a combination that brings graphic energy and a touch of playfulness to minimalist, Scandinavian, or contemporary interiors. Unlike laser-engraved or inlaid boards, ChessboINK fields are defined by carefully painted outlines, with colour applied directly onto the veneer surface.
The result is a finish that feels closer to art print than traditional woodwork — deliberate, clean, and visually commanding on any wall.
Painted, not burned: Fields are hand-painted with precision pigment — shape outlines are incised, colour fills are applied by hand. Each board is slightly unique.
