Lead Time

Every piece is made, serviced, or prepared by hand — at a craftsman's pace, not an assembly line.

Exact timing for this specific item is detailed above. As a general guide: Ready to Ship pieces typically leave within 3–8 business days, and boards built through our Configurator take around 6 weeks to make. Worldwide Shipping & Customs

Global Delivery & Safety

We ship our chessboards and clocks worldwide from Poland, with extreme care. Our pieces have safely reached collectors in the USA, Singapore, Argentina, UK, Norway, Ukraine, and throughout Europe. Every order is packed securely to arrive at your doorstep in perfect condition.

Shipping Costs & Customs Duties

Your exact shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout — no need to contact us first. For a growing number of destinations, we've also taken care of import duties on our side, so what you see at checkout really is the final price, with nothing more to pay when your order arrives.

Where this isn't yet the case, standard customs rules may apply depending on your country — this is shown clearly before you pay, never as a surprise later. If you're ever unsure, or ordering something unusually large or heavy, just ask us — we're happy to check and confirm before you order.

Returns & Satisfaction

We strive for 100% satisfaction.
As an art workshop, we want you to love your chess set. However, please note the distinction between our products:

  • Bespoke & Personalized Items: Because these pieces are crafted specifically to your order (custom size, wood, engraving), they are not eligible for return. They are made exclusively for you.
  • Standard Items: Regular products can be returned within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. In this case, the buyer covers the return shipping costs.

Any issues?
Before you worry about regulations, simply contact us directly. We are people, not a corporation, and we solve problems amicably.

The ChessboINK Vertical Chess Board in American Walnut with Silver-Painted Fields

Dark, rich, and quietly theatrical. The ChessboINK Walnut / Silver vertical chess board is built on a deep American walnut veneer base, with light fields hand-painted in silver-chrome pigment with a deliberate gold undertone — a finish that shifts in tone depending on the light in the room.

The effect is closer to jewellery than furniture. Against the dark walnut grain, silver-gold fields read as inlaid metal at a distance, and as intricate hand-painted surface up close. It is, without question, a statement piece.

Magnetically engineered for vertical play, every piece — whether placed or mid-move — stays exactly where you left it.

Why ChessboINK Walnut / Silver?

  • Dark base, metallic light: American walnut's deep chocolate-brown grain makes silver-gold fields luminous by contrast — the board glows differently across the day.
  • Painted with intention: Field outlines are precision-incised; silver-gold fill is applied by hand. No two boards are identical.
  • Pairs naturally with metallic pieces: Designed to complement epoxy resin pieces with gold accents — white marble with grey, and black with gold inlay.
  • Wall-ready from day one: Integrated magnetic hanging system. No external hardware required.

Product Specifications

Note: American walnut veneer carries naturally dramatic grain — deep swirls, occasional figuring, warm variation in tone. These characteristics are intrinsic to the material and contribute to the unique character of each board.
