ChessboRN is our essential, lightweight vertical chess board — made for schools, clubs, cafés and high-traffic spaces. It shares the same playable layout and magnetic hold as our flagship, in a minimal, easy-to-maintain build that invites everyday play.
Step 1 in the Build-Your-Set flow: this listing is for the board only. Pieces are sold separately in Step 2.
Choose a complete 32-piece set for your board: Solid Wood or Plywood. Both sets are felt-backed and use the unified magnet layout (since Oct 2025). You can also add extra Queens / Knights / Kings — we’ll match the layout.
Schools, clubs, cafés and any high-traffic environment where a sturdy, no-nonsense, wall-mounted chessboard is needed. If you’re designing a showpiece for a premium interior, see our flagship ChessboArt 800.

Yes. ChessboRN includes integrated brackets and a basic care & mounting guide.

Yes. Since Oct 2025 we use a unified magnet layout, so all ChessboArt magnetic pieces fit.
Yes — engraving is available for the board, and resin fills for the pieces in Step 3.
We're not a typical store, but a small workshop.
If you want to be 100% sure about the timing, just send us an email.
The usual lead time for wall-mounted boards is around 1 month — but it can vary.
We can add a custom engraving just for you — like a company logo or an anniversary message.
We also create resin inlays and wood combinations (intarsia).
Simply include your request in the order notes, or email us later with your order number.

We pack our chess with special care. We have already managed to deliver to the United States, Singapore, Argentina and most European countries... but it may happen that your location is not yet added to our store. In this case, write us an email and we will price and add it immediately.
We love chess, so feel free to ask.
The same applies to small products, write and we will add the price of shipping the letter.
In short:
- products made to order, personalized, etc. are not returnable
- typical, standard products can be returned within 14 days (you cover the shipping costs) without giving a reason
